Around the corner at Gripsholms Värdshus is Callanderska Gården Schweizeri. During the summer you can enjoy hearty dishes, delicious sandwiches, soft drinks and coffee and tea. Visit the weaving room and enjoy the scents of the herb garden. There is also Mariefreds Hembygdsföreningen's flea market and farm shop for those who are looking for a bargain.

Through close partnerships with producers and artisan food makers in Sörmland, ingredients from the region find their way into our restaurants, our bakery, and our café. Welcome to Värdshuset's beautiful dining room with breathtaking views of Lake Mälaren and Gripsholm Castle.
Our food philosophy is based on the variety and diversity of Swedish cuisine, with an ecological approach and awareness of our history. We work closely with local producers and create menus according to season and availability. An a la carte menu is served in the dining room.
Opening hours for the Dining Room:
Monday - Thursday 17:00-20:00
Friday - Saturday 17:00-21:00
The kitchen closes for orders at 20:00/21:00.

Wine cellar
Book our chambre séparée in the wine cellar for an intimate and unique experience. With room for up to 10 people, this is the perfect venue for wine tastings and private dinners. Surrounded by historic arches and wines, you will have an unforgettable evening in one of Gripsholm Värdshus oldest parts - here you can see the old monastery grounds.
