Personal data and privacy policy for Svenska Kulturpärlor

Our personal data policy describes how we at Svenska Kulturpärlor (Svenska Kulturpärlor AB, 559045-6991) with associated subsidiaries, sister companies and businesses (hereinafter referred to as Svenska Kulturpärlor) process information about employees, suppliers and guests. Your privacy is important to us and below we describe how we use, collect, protect and share information about our customers and others who interact with us in our businesses, through our administration and booking systems and in our digital channels (applications, social media platforms and various websites)

How we use the information

Svenska Kulturpärlor has a need and in some cases a legal requirement to sometimes use personal data to execute agreements and run our business (for example, make payments and deliver our products and services). Svenska Kulturpärlor uses personal data to communicate and market our products and services. It may also include images and videos where the person participates when the person in question has visited our pearls in connection with one of Svenska Kulturpärlor's contracted photographers or employees documenting the activities. The information we use is address, response results for inquiries, name and e-mail address, telephone number, IP address and user information from digital collection such as geographic location, cookies, search, navigation and visit history, and where applicable, images and videos. This section also includes guest surveys and competitions conducted to improve Svenska Kulturpärlor's products and services. In most cases, Kulturgastronomen AB is the data controller and is thus responsible for why data is stored and processed. In some cases, an individual subsidiary or sister company may be the data controller. Third parties may also be responsible for the processing together with Svenska Kulturpärlor and in several cases Svenska Kulturpärlor may appoint data processors who process the personal data on behalf of Svenska Kulturpärlor for marketing purposes, for example. In these cases, personal data processing agreements are signed between the parties to ensure a high level of security.

Processing of information

Svenska Kulturpärlor's companies share personal data and information between each other when necessary, such as bookings, guest surveys, payments and marketing. Technology providers such as storage services, e-mail services and other IT providers have the right, on behalf of Svenska Kulturpärlor, to store our information and to protect your personal data when doing so. Authorities and others who impose legal requirements or in the event of any legal proceedings, personal data may be processed. In the case of payments and bookings, for example, booking companies and banks may need to share relevant information to fulfill their commitments. In the event of a sale of the business or parts of it, personal data may also be shared with the buyer.

Svenska Kulturpärlor is committed to taking appropriate measures to ensure that your personal data is processed securely. We constantly update our information system with the aim of processing personal data within the EU/EEA area. Some of our technical suppliers may process personal data outside this area but we always ensure that your data is protected according to the same requirements as rules within the EU/EEA area. We protect personal data from dissemination, destruction, access by unauthorized persons (through procedures for who is authorized to use the data internally).We do not resell your personal data to third parties unless you have expressly given us permission to do so.

Time period

We keep your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is used, for example, as long as it is necessary for us to provide our products and services, to improve and develop our services and products, and to send you information and marketing communications. Where necessary, we will retain your data for the time necessary for us to comply with our legal obligations. The period we retain varies depending on the data we retain and for what purpose.

As an employee, we save your data for up to 36 months from the time you leave your employment.

Your personal data is deleted or anonymized when it is no longer relevant to the purpose for which it was collected.

Your data will be stored for a longer period than mentioned above if there are legal requirements we have to comply with, if there is a dispute to be settled or if you have given your consent.
