Afterwards, one of our cozy rooms with comfortable beds awaits, where you sleep well while the city rests in winter peace.
During the day, you can enjoy Mariefred's winter-clad small-town idyll, Christmas-signed shops and atmospheric Christmas shopping. On November 30, the square is filled with the Christmas market's scents of spruce ice and mulled wine, and a warm Christmas atmosphere spreads through the city.
The following morning, a generous breakfast buffet is served to enjoy in peace and quiet.

At Gripsholms Värdshus we take the flavors of Christmas seriously. Here we serve a classic Christmas table with everything you expect - and a little more. Pickled herring, salmon, Jansson, ham, meatballs and all the other favorites that belong to Christmas.
